▌About the role

Manage a team of business analysts who provide data-driven solutions for the Wealth Management (WM) division. In this role, you will identify business growth opportunities and support the achievement of KPIs through the use of analytical insights and AI. You will participate in strategic discussions with both business stakeholders and senior management. The team is responsible for handling data-related tasks such as in-depth analyses, simulations, and the creation of Control Towers and dashboards. As the team lead, you will oversee resource planning and measure the value delivered. Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert, promoting the use of Control Towers in decision-making and fostering a culture of learning through experimentation.

▌ Responsibilities

Oversee data-driven decision-making within the Wealth Management sector and its associated platform.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of Wealth Management products, including Investment products, Mortgages, Deposits, and Banca offerings.
Focus on engagement strategies such as prospecting, click-through journeys, and portfolio management.
Collaborate closely with Product, Martech, Segment, Regional, Finance, and Operations teams, as well as within MtJ squads, to devise new strategies, create seamless customer journeys, and enhance customer experience.
Support and facilitate the development of team members’ data analytics skills through onboarding at ADA, a modern analytics platform that includes tools like CML, Python, and Pyspark.
– Drive customer and business impact by:
– Using the Data Driven Operation Model (DDOM) to leverage data for business growth and collaborate with product partners.
– Advancing cognitive and automated banking through the development of machine learning models and automation of control towers.
– Identifying key trends, providing insights on performance and causality, and discovering opportunities to enhance customer engagement.
– Fostering a deep understanding of consumer needs and preferences, analyzing customer behavior, and designing campaigns and experiments to boost customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.

▌ Qualifications

Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics and business intelligence, including several years managing data analytics product delivery.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly numerate with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; capable of simplifying complex concepts and effectively presenting to senior management.
Handle challenging conversations with stakeholders with discretion and tact.
Embrace a growth mindset; be open to organizational transformation and actively support and advocate for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Proficient in various data analytics techniques, including predictive and prescriptive analytics, machine learning, and AI.
Preferred, but not required:
- Previous experience in data management and analytics within the banking industry.
- Coding proficiency, including experience with big data manipulation and data extraction queries.
- Familiarity with statistical languages such as SQL, Python, and Pyspark.
