Reports to: SVP Tax

The individual in this role is primarily responsible for providing tax advisory services to the business and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, helping risk owners manage the potential impact or risks for the Bank.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in Tax and Transfer Pricing, offering guidance to the business on daily operations and product offerings, while providing solution-oriented perspectives;
• Recording tax-related accounting entries and collaborating with CPA firms on the preparation and filing of corporate income tax and business tax returns;
• Managing tax risks and overseeing the relevant control procedures to ensure these risks are effectively mitigated through robust controls;
• Maintaining a flexible, open-minded approach to improving processes and enhancing efficiency.
